Questions and Answers:

Q:  How do I buy online?
A:
Look for the "View to Buy Here" heading at the top left of each page.
Click on the subject that you are interested in -- the different titles will open. A short description and photo or image will give you an idea of the product as well as the price.
Click on "More info" for the contents and requirements. Add the product to your shopping basket right there, or add the product to your basket from the "more info" page.

Once you have an e-book description page open in this manner, you can add the product to your shopping basket by clicking on the button labeled  "Add to Basket", or you can return to "View to buy here" to look at other options. Once you have clicked on "Add to basket" for any product, your shopping cart will be displayed, containing the product you just selected. Then follow these easy steps to complete your purchase:

Step1: Finalize Items
Add your product to the Verisign approved M-Web SafeShop 3 online ordering system as just described. When you shop with e-Wise Knowledge Library, you can be assured that your transaction is secure. Our servers use advanced encryption technology. This safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy. Look for the Verisign logo when you open your shopping basket.

If you would like to continue shopping, click on “Continue Shopping” to return to the store and add another item.
If you would like to remove an item completely from your order you can do this in the shopping basket. Click on “Remove” next to the item you would like to remove. Only ONE (the quantity) of any product may be ordered to ensure correct delivery. You may, however, add one of any or all the different products to your shopping basket in a single transaction.

Once you have specified items you would like to order, click on “Check out” to continue to step 2.

Step 2: Log in
If you have already registered as an M-Web Safeshop 3 Shopper, click on “Log In” and type in your username and password. Then click on “OK” to go to the next step. As a registered M-Web Safeshop 3 Shopper, your shipping and billing details will automatically be inserted into the online order form for you to confirm before finalizing the purchase.

If you have not yet registered, you can either do this now or do it later at M-Web Safeshop 3 and continue with the purchase process. As a registered Safeshop shopper, you will be able to shop at any Safeshop store with ease.

Step 3: Enter Address Details
Here we need your shipping details (the address where the order should be delivered) and billing details (the details of the person placing and paying for the order). If you are a registered M-Web Safeshop 3 user, your details will automatically be inserted here for you to confirm.

Step 4: Delivery details
The electronic presentations (downloads) will be delivered from the secure Safeshop server with your invoice.

Step 5: Confirm Details
Once you have chosen your shipping address, M-Web SafeShop 3 can provide you with a final cost of your order  before finalizing your order. This page displays all the details for you to check before submitting your order for processing. If all the details are correct and you are satisfied with the total cost of your order, you can now submit your payment details to finalize your order.

Step 6: Payment Details and Order Submission
This is the final step in your ordering process. You will be required to enter your credit card details in this screen before submitting the order. You can put your mind at ease when ordering from e-Wise Knowledge Library using the M-Web SafeShop 3 online ordering system. Our servers use advanced encryption technology. This safeguards your personal information and guarantees privacy. The Verisign logo is your assurance of safety (for more info about Verisign, you can go to http://www.verisign.com). Type in your credit card details (it is encrypted) in this step and click on “Place Order” to submit your order.

Step 7: Order Confirmation
Once you’ve submitted your order, the next screen you see is an order confirmation page to let you know that your order has been received. You will also receive your invoice with the purchases to download. Your invoice and receipt includes your order number that can be followed up on the Safeshop 3 site. Click on the Safeshop logo to access the secure site.

e-Book downloads are usually delivered within minutes from the secure Safeshop server! Once you received your invoice, you will see the words "Download". Click to download your purchase onto a formatted CD or the computer hard disk drive.

Q:  I entered the e-mail address where I wanted to send my electronic purchase and it took days to arrive at the e-mail address I placed the order from! What is going on?
A:

Oops! You ordered the e-book download options that are suitable for delivery to the e-mail address you placed the order from, but you then entered a different destination (delivery) e-mail address. This confused the system and it took some time to sort itself out! Eventually it sent your order to the e-mail address you ordered from (your Safeshop default e-mail address). At this time you cannot have an e-book delivered electronically to another e-mail address (other than the one you ordered from).

Q:  I am worried about the "zipped" files. What is it and why is it necessary to have the download "zipped"?
A:
When you have large files that you want to store or transfer electronically, it may take so long to transfer that the computer times out (stops everything). Even when the secure server would try to download so much information online to you -- your computer would be swamped! When large files (such as some of the presentations with a size of 5,5 MB) have to be transferred electronically, it can only be done when the files are compacted ("squeezed" smaller -- "zipped") for the transfer. When it is received on the other side, it can be restored to normal size ("puffed out" -- "unzipped") again.
Zipping the files have another advantage, namely that the e-book is transferred in the correct "order". Our e-books consist of different files and folders all "scrambled" together, but with one entry page. If we delivered your purchase to you "scrambled", you would not know where to start reading! It would be like a "loose leaf" book that we just threw onto your desk -- all mixed up and difficult to sort out. When you receive a zipped product, this does not happen -- it is just like unwrapping a book -- you will know where to start reading and will not be bothered by the hundreds of folders and files that make it possible for you to click... read...learn and use the information in the e-book. Some people are worried about "zipped" files -- just remember -- when you receive information from a reputable source, you can rest assured that the product is as safe as can be. Once you have used zipped files, you will probably start to "zip and unzip" your own files -- saving much disk- and file space when you use your own information.

Why use the word "zip"?
Well -- that is a difficult question -- probably because the information is packaged neatly in a "small package" just like packing clothes tightly into a small bag before "zipping up that small bag", or getting a lot of clothes into a small suitcase, forcing it in and sitting on it to try to close the lid! When you zip open the small bag or open the suitcase at your destination, the lid flies open and the clothes are back to normal again. Who knows the real explanation for the choice of words? It does not really matter -- this explanation is actually the most practical manner to describe what happens to "zipped" information!

Q:  What do I do when I receive an e-book download?
A:

To be able to read the e-book from an electronic transfer, browser software will be required (Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator -- the same software that you are using right now to view this website)!

The presentation files have been compressed for electronic delivery ("zipped" using Winzip software downloaded from http://www.winzip.com). You have to use the same software (if your computer does not perform this action automatically) to "unzip" the files (change them back to "normal size").  Most computers already have the Winzip facility available. The e-book just have to be unzipped once -- then it is ready to read whenever you have time (whether it is downloaded to a formatted CD or a folder on the computer makes no difference). Download products come directly from the secure Safeshop server. You are our clients -- your security is our primary concern.

What to do:
When you purchased a downloadable product, you will receive an invoice from Safeshop with the word "Download digital product". When you click there, the e-book that you have purchased will be downloaded. The product name will appear (for example "Product 22.zip.zip"). This is only the zipped file code and may be different from the product code that you purchased. It is, however, the correct product!

Double click on this zipped file name.

You will be required to unzip the file (restore it to its normal size). This can be done by following the steps -- it really is quite easy -- we just supply complete instructions for some of you who have not done this before:

Step 1: UNZIP THE FILE :

When you double clicked on the zipped file name, the Winzip software opens (when you have it on your computer -- if not, download the software from http://winzip.com). Select either the "demonstration version" or the "purchased version" (which ever version you are using) on the Winzip communication page. A long list of files will open and different options will appear in the Winzip toolbar.
Click on "extract" on the toolbar (DO NOT click on "open"), select  "all files and folders" and then click on the "use folder names" option.
You will be asked for a "destination" on your computer hard disk OR select as destination a formatted CD in your CD-ROM for the files.

For example -- you may create a new folder on your computer hard disk drive under "My Documents" and select this file name as the destination for your purchase or gift.

Please ensure that the "file type" option for the destination file is set to "All files" to ensure that you can see and access all the different file types used in the publication.
Then click on "extract".

Go to the destination folder that you selected for the extracted files.

THERE ARE TWO MAIN FILES IN THE ZIPPED FILE -- READ ME.TXT AND THE e-BOOK FILE.

Step 2:
CLICK ON THE READ ME.TXT FILE.

This file will tell you how to open and use the e-book.

Step 3: OPEN THE PUBLICATION:

Double click on the e-book title and then on   "REGISTRATION" (The "CLICK HERE" icon).
The "Copyright page" will open. If you agree to the observe the copyright requirements, click on "I Agree".
The Welcome page will open.
The e-book will supply you with different links from there -- you decide where you would like to go in the book! Just read and click -- it is as easy as that.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT ALL THE e-BOOKS ARE BEST VIEWED AT A SCREEN RESOLUTION OF 1024 X 768. At any other resolution, the formatting on the pages may change. To change or check your computer screen resolution, move the mouse cursor to a blank (open) part of  on the desktop screen of your computer, click on the right mouse button, left click on “settings” and move the screen resolution slide to 1024 X768 pixels. Click on “Apply” and then “OK”. If you still feel a little unsure how to go about it, please access your computer help file (Windows Help).

Q:  When I unzip an e-book download, I only see a multitude of individual files. Why?
A:

When you unzipped the file you selected "Open" instead of "Extract".
When you select "Extract" only two files will be unzipped (all the other files will be there but will not clutter up everything). When the zipped file is "extracted" (not opened), you will see the "read me" file and the file containing the e-book.

When you click on the e-book title, you will be asked to register.
Click on "click here" and continue to a copyright message.
When you click on "I accept" in the copyright message, the first page of the book will open and you just continue from there.

Q:  When I view an e-book page some sentences seem to "flow over" into the next line. What must I do to view the pages with the correct formatting?
A:

All the e-books are best viewed at a screen resolution of 1024 X 768. At any other resolution, the formatting on the pages may change. To change or check your computer screen resolution, move the mouse cursor to a blank (open) part of  on the desktop screen of your computer, click on the right mouse button. Now left click on “settings”.  The "settings" screen will open. This screen contains information regarding your current colour settings, screen resolution settings and so on. Note down the current screen resolution setting (if you want to change it back at a later stage) and move the screen resolution slide to 1024 X 768 pixels. Click on “Apply” and then on “OK”. The screen resolution will now be reset to 1024 X 768 pixels. The screen resolution can be changed back at any time to the original setting -- just follow the previous instructions.
If you still feel a little unsure how to go about changing the screen resolution, please access your computer help file (Windows Help).

Q:  I did not receive my electronic publication (e-book) immediately. Why not?
A:

The electronic delivery of e-book(s) depend on your internet service provider (server). In some instances delivery may be delayed because of the server.
